Hall County Animal Shelter is located at 1688 Barber Road, Gainesville, GA. NOT to be confused with the HUMANE SOCIETY also in Gainesville. Did you know all black colored dogs are adopted far less often, also due to negative press the Pitties (Pit Bull Terriers), Rotweilers, Doberman's are also in danger of not being adopted. The cute, fluffy puppies, smaller dogs and younger dogs DO get adopted most of the time, so give an UNDER DOG a chance and go adopt one today. There are MANY fantastic Dogs there and NOT ONE has shown my any aggression and I have come into contact with Hundreds of Pets there. If you Adopt....you must COMMIT to that dog for its life! Please do not adopt and then bring that pet back to the shelter. That is just about the worst thing that can happen to a pet and if you do....There is a good chance that dog will not get back out alive. Sad but True! So take adoption seriously please! ** All pets at this Shelter are Vet and Temperament Checked by their Full Time VET. I have not seen one pet there with aggression issues. They are all good, sweet Dogs that will SAVE YOU....as well as you saving them! IF you cannot adopt, then foster, or Volunteer or please consider donations which they accept right on their site.
